yes, that's the patch that was no longer continued or was modified. I

couldn't get to the patch

make sure that you have the hard-drive is not set at "AUTO" in the
Bios,
if it is then change it to "LBA".

Thats is all you need to do, there is no need for the patch.

I also had problems with that, yast couldn`t fix windows partition
avtomaticly, then I configured grub with Webmin, and everything
worked, so
ttry it
