Interrupt:11

Are you trying to run the wired while the wireless is still active?

If so you might need to bring the wireless down with:

ifdown wlan0 ( or whatever the interface is called )
ifdown eth0
ifup eth0


And then configure the nic, does that help?

Thanks for the tip. when doing ifdown eth0, got a unknown device.
Went
to Broadcom web site and downloaded new drive and vendor said not to
use
driver from SUSE. Anyway once I got BCM5700 driver loaded and
downed
the wireless card, I got an IP address and all seems to be working OK.

Glad to help Eric,

Now you can setup different profiles using Yast so that when you want
to
use wireless or wired connections you can just switch profile so thatthe right card is started/stopped.
