We don't have this problem. If you do find a way around it there are
plenty
of other problems too. We have about half our users unable to use it
because evolution just crashes. It seems to be something to do with
their
exchange account. One guy went so far as to move all his mail to local

folders and that seemed to fix it for him. Of course that defeats thepurpose of exchange with access to all you email from anywhere now not

being possible.

If you use imap evolution is fine, but there is then no access to
global
address lists anymore (except via the connector.) I wonder if Novell
are
serious about evolution? I suspect not because we all know they bought

ximian for red carpet, and the connector is not installed by default.
If
they don't get the connector working a bit better there is no point is
them
supporting evolution, with so many other email clients around like
thunderbird and kmail. The connector is the only real thing that make
it
stand out from the rest.

yours in disappointment

Greg.

You could install red-carpet, and then subscribe to
http://red-carpet.ximain.com and try the latest connector and
evolution to
see if it fixes your problem. Just subscribe to the evolution devel
snapshot. However, remember that it is under development and that you
are
trying it at your own risk.
