A transparent borderless aterm running *****X may look extremely shiny but currently the performance is too poor for daily use. I expect to see great things from this extension in the future though. |

I expect to see great things from this > extension in the future though. Presumably you've already included the Option "Composite" "Enable" line to the xorg.conf file to get translucency working. But that doesn't get the hardware acceleration going - and you need it or everything is very slow! Try adding Option "RenderAccel" "True" to the device section of the file. Good luck |

Already got that there. I should point out that when I say it was too slow I don't mean glacially slow but rather just slow enough to stop it being enjoyable. It's close, just not quite there though. |
