Login as root and run:- sax2 -l Thats a small "L", this will start sax2 in "l"ow res 640x480@60Hz, form there you should be able to change the refresh, for LCD`s you only need 60Hz. Every now and then I get a msg that, when I try to read it, it says 'Message unreadable'. I've usually chalked this up to the OP cancelling it, but I've seen it on some of my responses, as well. I think it's down to some node not passing it on the path from source to destination, or a problem in the headers that the newsreader (I'm using bleeding-edge Sylpheed-Claws and sometimes see strange things) chokeson. My best SWAG, anyway . . . :-) BTW, I quoted his full reply since it was so short. -- Kevin Nathan (Arizona, USA) Linux Potpourri and a.o.l.s. FAQ -- http://www.project54.com/linux/ Open standards.
