Default SMTP Failure

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the proper forum, but here we go; I've installed
the HowToForge "HowToISP" tutorial using the ISPConfig control panel on my
openSuSe v.10.2 distro sometime ago, though most services work as attended
my SMTP server is unaccessible from outside the wide local area network (
WLAN ), i.e. accross the web when using a email client ( browser ),and is
only accessible from within the WLAN. I've verified that my name servers,
port forwarding settings, that my ISP is not blocking port 25, security
suite ,ISPConfig firewall has been properly configured to allow proper
functioning of the SMTP server, all other services such as, http,DNS,FTP,
pop and imap work as intended except the SMTP server which is provided by
Postfix. What compounds the problem of finding a solution is that the
ISPConfig control panel either doesn't like or denies direct configuration
of various scripts used by various applications under its command, such
as, /etc/postfix/main.cf, /etc/postfix/local-host-names. I've tried the
ISPConfig forum and they are at a lost as to a resolution to my problem,
does anyone have any ideas?

Thank You in advance
