Hi,
I managed to activate subpixel hinting in opensuse 10.3 as described in http://opensuse-community.org/SubpixelHinting successfully. Unfortunately, OpenOffice seems not to make use of it, so the fonts look really ugly now in comparison with the rest of the system. Does anybody per chance know how to active subpixel hinting in OpenOffice? Thanks, Jörg |

I'm also suffering from ugly OO fonts while the rest of the system looks good. Gunnar |

Added the RPMS directory and the desktop integration subdirectory as local repositories. HTH, Gunnar |
