More importantly, are you using KDE? My guess is no. If your print
jobs go through kprinter then you can control the n-up (works
with all applications). Maybe Gnome has something similar?

Please! of course I use KDE! as a matter of fact I don't know why more
people use gnome.

But .. I was looking for a openoffice Impress native option (it should have
it).

Thanks!

Go to the handouts tab, then in the side-bar (if that is what it is called)
pick Layouts, and choose the layout you prefer (1,2,3,4 or 6 per page).

Then, to print the document, select print, choose Options and select only
handouts. That should work.

There is also an option to add headers, footers and page numbers as well if
you wish
View -> Header and Footer -> Notes and handouts tab

is there a way to change the size of the layouts? I think that the space so
wasted around the slides.

Thank you.

Not that I've ever found, but I haven't looked that hard.
