Along with the problems I've reported regarding OOo appearance - still
unresolved - I see that one of the files listed in the paths, /usr/share/templates/ooo2/en-GB, does not exist (en-US is there). However, /usr/lib/ooo-2.0/share/template/ does contain en-GB. Why the different locations for the templates and why are the paths screwed? I'm running in 10.3. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks., UK. E-mail: newsman, not newsboy. "What use is happiness? The 'en-US' folders are certainly different. I see 'common' is pointed to in both folders though it only exists in 'templates', and not 'template'. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks., UK. Have you looked at Personal Settings (Control Center of KDE) --> Desktop and checked under Window Specific Settings to see if there is a special entry for Open Office? Also under Desktop there is another category for Window Behavior which might affect appearance but those tend to be system wide whereas Window Specific Settings can track each application and do things (especially things that can make an application window unavailable any other way except to delete the entry (or modify it) in the Personal Settings --> Desktop --> Window Specific Settings section. I also tried the same thing in Kubuntu but that wouldn't let me re-install OOo. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks., UK. E-mail: newsman, not newsboy. "What use is happiness?
