Default Open Office 2.3: paths leading nowhere.

Along with the problems I've reported regarding OOo appearance - still
unresolved - I see that one of the files listed in the
paths, /usr/share/templates/ooo2/en-GB, does not exist (en-US is there).
However, /usr/lib/ooo-2.0/share/template/ does contain en-GB.

Why the different locations for the templates and why are the paths screwed?

I'm running in 10.3.

Just realised en-GB in 'template' folder probably isn't what it would have
been in 'templates' if it had been there. The 'en-US' folders are certainly
different. I see 'common' is pointed to in both folders though it only
exists in 'templates', and not 'template'.

I'm not sure about the templates problem but an afterthought occurred to me
about the difference in appearance. Have you looked at Personal Settings
(Control Center of KDE) --> Desktop and checked under Window Specific
Settings to see if there is a special entry for Open Office? Also under
Desktop there is another category for Window Behavior which might affect
appearance but those tend to be system wide whereas Window Specific
Settings can track each application and do things (especially things that
can make an application window unavailable any other way except to delete
the entry (or modify it) in the Personal Settings --> Desktop --> Window
Specific Settings section. [Ask me how I know.]

There's nothing in "window-specific settings" but thanks for trying. I've
set up new users before and after re-installing OOo and the appearance is
screwed in all. I also tried the same thing in Kubuntu but that wouldn't
let me re-install OOo.
