I Removed it in Yast and reinstalled it, but it still crash. Then i removed it in Yast and downloaded RPMs from Openoffice.org and installed it in terminas as root. It installed with no errors, but IT STILL CRASH DURING START! Only thing that happen is that the Crashhandler appeares but it doenst give any information that can be understand for us humans. I did an Network installation of openSUSE 10.3 on another laptop and here OpenOffice do work with no problems. What can be worng with this laptop? Hi!
I searched on internet and found that some have problem if 3D is activated on gfx-card. I disabled 3D and then OpenOffice start, but i had probebly a bad driver for my Ati Radeon 9700-card because my laptop freeze everytime i try to access screen configuration. Since it was a fresh installation, i reinstall whole openSUSE and now everything is working. I did not upgrade Ati-driver, so now im happy! RS |
