Hello,
This is a Suse 10.1 mystery I've been looking into: Clicking the floppy icon in Nautilus popped up an error dialog that said: Method 'mount' with signature 'ssas' on interface 'org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume' doesn't exist After searching on that for a while (a loooong while), I edited the file: /etc/dbus-1/system.d/hal.conf changing "deny" to "allow" for all the org.freedesktop.Hal.Device entries. I restarted the hal and dbus daemons. Then clicking the floppy icon in Nautilus pops up an error dialog that says: Mount failed Could not create dbus message >show more details mount Mounting the floppy drive manually using the 'mount' command works, the /etc/fstab entry is normal... I'm stumped! Anyone? |
