Default file selector does not offer file name

When I save a file in evolution or Seamonkey or Firefox, probably others;
the file name that should normally be offered is empty. All that is offered
a folder.

I've looked but can't find an answer. I think it has to do with the gtk file
selector.

Suse 10.1 kde 3.5

Thanks,
Jeff

I was seeing this too. Now, suddenly, I see that the file field is back
in the "save as" dialog when I save an email attachment in Seamonkey.

Maybe this was fixed in a recent supplementary GNOME package.

Mark,

Maybe someone knows what causes it.
