In my conversion from windows to Linux, I have been unable to locate a
streaming audio player that will play streams for the wma (Windows Media Player) format. Canadian public radio (CBC) is available in that format only. See: http://www.cbc.ca/listen/ Is there a plugin for FireFox or other Linux program that will do this? TIA |

My version of YaSt (Suse 10.1 and gnome) does not have a Change Source of Installation icon that I can find. If I look at the Installation Source menu, I can see that packman has been installed. As a result, the mplayer plugin will not install. mplayer > and the plugin are available for mozilla (firefox). > |

Question is this a 32 or 64bit install? Can you search for mplayer or mplayer-in? Even if you can get mplayer installed you can run it from the commandline; malcolml@oscar:~> mplayer mms://wm05.nm.cbc.ca/cbcr2-toronto You will probably have to install codecs as well. Have a look at this link; http://waxborg.servepics.com/English.../suse10.1.html -- Cheers Malcolm °¿° |

Have a look at this > link; This whole thing is start to make my head spin just a tad. Every time I try to install something there is another dependency missing. I tried to install gecko-sdk and was told I needed mozilla-xulrunner. I tried to install mozilla-xulrunner and was told that I needed some other dependencies. Did you add the Add-On CD/catalog to the installer configuration? Uwe -- Novell Support Connection Volunteer SysOp Please don't send me support related e-mail unless I ask you to do so. |

Is my understanding correct from the above, that 10.1 does *not* have a 'change installation source 'choice'? tia -- ac |
