Hello,
I've been trying to deal with this one for a few weeks now -- All of the updates available to me in 10.1 have been applied, and now I'm getting the following error upon startup of zen-updater: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object in <0x002d6> Novell.Zenworks.Gui.ZenTrayIcon:CheckUpdatesLoop () in (wrapper delegate-invoke) System.MulticastDelegate:invoke_void () ...at which point, the program gives up the ghost. Is this a known issue, or is a fix available, or did something in the update process blow the zenworks system to smithereens? Any feedback is welcome. -Matthew Hatch -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFErqUZuFMwMKzmlJMRAsckAKCAfsT1R4DNCHvpQRT+fP dwBoImowCeOH3g gh49Z2tPPm4ZIXpEJDNITqE= =GoSk -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

Matthew,
did you try a Yast Online Update? This should apply a Zen fix. Uwe -- Novell Support Connection Volunteer SysOp Please don't send me support related e-mail unless I ask you to do so. |

Yast online update (aleast for me) is all manual, so I had to find the libzypp and choose that to be updated and then all the other files followed suite. I then searched for zen and choose to update that and viola all is fine. I still miss 10.0 and older Yast online update |

Matthew,
so if you start Yast Online Update, there's no libzypp update available any more? And you did reboot? Sorry, no idea what to do next then. Uwe -- Novell Support Connection Volunteer SysOp Please don't send me support related e-mail unless I ask you to do so. |
