Default libiconv rpm & how to search the forum

Is there an rpm for libiconv that goes with YAST for Suse 10.0? I can (try
to) install it myself, but I prefer to use YAST if possible so everything
is coordinated in one place. Once I do that, is there a way to install an
rpm for gettext that uses iconv?

Also, how do I search the forum? I've made a couple posts in the past that
got very helpful answers, but I don't know of any way to find them other
than scrolling backwards through the message history.

Thanks!

I would strongly recommend using the forums through a proper NNTP
("usenet") client rather than through the web interface; see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_news_clients
for a partial list. NNTP clients provide efficient access to forum postings
as they typically use the discussion thread structure information present in
the headers of postings.

Additionally, the forums are archived by Google Groups,
http://groups.google.com
which provides powerful search capabilities (search in "opensuse.*" and
"novell.*" groups).
