I just upgraded yesterday. Suse has a new cd auto load I'm told. Well it
broke Cedega and wine. I cant install any game that checks the cd drive. Diablo 2 keeps asking for the cd to be put in the drive with wine. Cedega doesn't even load start up for the game. Quake2 same thing, I know there is a Linux port, but its impossible to find the lib's on this old game to get the Linux installer to work. Same thing with Sim City 4. All games and programs worked under suse 10.0. Any suggestions before I reinstall a windowz partition? |

Thanks for the reply, I would, but since all my games worked under Suse 10.0 with Cedega I let my subscription run out. Now Id have to pay again to post on their forum. I also don't think this is a cedega issue since everything worked with Suse 10.0 and stopped working with the new cd auto mount in Suse 10.1. Not only that but Cedega is wine based, and wine doesn't work either for the one game I used it for. |

From what I've been told in all the other forums, don't upgrade. Suse 10.1 has alot of bugs that still need to be worked out. |
