Hello,
I frequently use usb memory flash drives. SUSE 10.0 is able to recognize the drive but when I need to eject it safely it tells me something about the fstab file. umount:/Media/NAME_OF_FLASH_DRIVE is not in the fstab (and you are not a root). Does any body know how to modify the fstab file to remove this incoveniance? THANKS Mauricio |

Did you change the setup to not use the sync option? If you didn't change anything, Suse will automount the USB flash drive with the sync option and you do not need to umount the drive. Just unplug it when the lights stop flashing. Uwe -- Novell Support Connection Volunteer SysOp Please don't send me support related e-mail unless I ask you to do so. |
