I have WindowMaker set as the default wm for Gnome in Suse 9.3. When I log
in I get a spinning clock until I do 'kill wmaker;wmaker' OR 'kill metacity; wmaker'. The it starts up. Dose anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? -- Rick |

When Gnome starts, the background that Metacity uses is present which seems to mean, to me, that Metacity is trying to start even though wmaker /usr/X11R6/bin/wmaker is listed as both the current and default wm in gconf. Any and all help appreciated. -- Rick |
