Default Terminal program that supports com ports

Hi

What are people using on suse 10.x as a terminal program to support com
ports. I have a need to configure switches and routers and I need a good
terminal program? Thanks

Some of the programs (or all) you was recomended may require that the
user is a member of the group uucp for opening the serial ports, since
the setGid bit is removed.
