Default File navigator in GTK app

Hello,

Situation: I use KDE almost exclusively (Fluxbox sometimes) on SUSE 10.0.

However, I also use a commercial GTK based app regularly. No problem with
that except for one small nuisance. I find in difficult to get used to
double clicking in this application's file navigator. It is no way to
switch to single clicking within the app .

I suppose single/double clicking can be set somewhere in Gnome, but it sort
of feels like overkill to install all of Gnome to investigate this.

So is there a quicker and simpler way?

Olav
