Default How do I get Kooka to start scanning?

I'm running Suse 9.3 on an Athlon box. I have a USB scanner, an HP 5470C.

Yast recognizes and installs the scanner.

I have Kooka installed, too.

The manual tells me I can get a preview of the image by clicking "Preview
Scan'in 'Scan Parameters'.

WHERE do I find this setting? I simply can't find any way to get this
program to start scanning anything!

Thanks, Bob.

Here it is in the lower left corner of the Kooka window. I have "Final
Scan" and "Preview Scan" buttons there.
