Default OpenOffice 2.0

Now that OpenOffice 2.0 RC1 is available, does anyone know if a SuSE version
is available yet? And if so, where?

tnx jk

Have you check the projects directory on suse's website? The latest version
I see is 1.9.129-0.1.

Here's is the address I use:

ftp://suse.osuosl.org/pub/suse/proje....org/9.3-i386/

Is this what you mean?

No, I mean 2.0 RC1, which was released today by OpenOffice.org. They do
have a Linux version available, but I thought I'd stick with the "official"
Novell/SuSE package.

Might not appear till after the weekend James, SuSE/Novell wil probably
want to recompile and add the personalisation stuff, then check it
works before putting it on the site.

I decided not to wait. Too many problems with the old one. Uninstalled
(via YAST) the old one, installed (via rpm -Uvih *.rpm) the new from the
RPMS dir. Don't forget to cd to desktop_integration and install the
suse menu rpm too.

Seems to work well, but I haven't pushed it yet.

Greg.
