Default kchm with 9.3 and x86_64

hello,

When I used _kchm_ with 9.2/i386 it worked great. The chm:/ io-slave worked
in Konqueror and all CHM files rendered fine in the _kchm_ window.

Now that I have 9.3/x86_64 the io-slave fails to load. This causes failure
in both the above contexts.

Does anyone have _kchm_ working in 9.3 (either i386 or x86_64), or is it a
problem with the 64 bit package?

Getting this package working in 9.3 is vital since I can't run 9.2 with this
hardware (I already tried too many times/ways).

regards,

update:
I've got it working in 9.3 on my Intel/i386 laptop. This leads me to think
that there is a problem in the x86_64 _kchm_ package for 9.3.
