I installed Sun's jdk1.5.04 into /usr/java (the default).
I have been unable to figure out how to get update-alternatives to move all of the java links to jdk1.5 instead of the jdk1.4.2 that SuSE installed in 9.3 Pro. Is there an easy way? If not, this seems to be a step backwards. Thanks, Jim |

I admit there is not much documentation about the alternatives, ;-) |
