Default OpenOffice1.9.122 crashes on SuSE 9.2 (KDE3.4.2b)

I've been installing each of the beta versions of OpenOffice 2.0 as they
become available. From m113 onwards they have become more prone to crashing
to the point where now I can't even start m122 (sigsev11 on startup).

I upgraded to KDE3.4.2a when it became available and have just installed
KDE3.4.2b. Have also been getting regular updates to SuSE via YOU. So now
I'm not sure if this is an OpenOffice, SuSE or KDE issue.

Will be happy to hear from anyone who has had similar problems.

I am still on an earlier version and have not seen any crashes here,
have you updated the kdelibs from the supplementary dir??

I do know that there have been problems with the gnome and kde side with
some of the files and maybe this is having an effect on OOo as well???

Try rolling back the kdelibs to the version before the one you have.

This might or might not help.

KDE is 3.4.2b.

OpenOffice broken update as YaST downloaded update and than "package not
found on medium" error. In the log found timeout, but it happened twice.
The same happened with gstreamer (armarok).

Knode recently started to crash.
First occasion when tried to configure it for email.
Second have no idea, guess it was just reading for some time.
The effect was thread broken in three pieces on Knode restart, but all came
back in order after next boot.
