Ok joking aside, after thinking about it can you try and launch ( as a user ) the Filemanager Super User Mode ( normally in System>File Manager menu ) See if that operates differently? -- Mark Twixt hill and high water N. In that case it does look like it is a permissions problem when running konqueror as root when root, if you see what I mean. Not sure how to get it to act as expected though, is it a KDE problem or a system problem ( rhetorical ) I will have a look see if I can find out anything. -- Mark Twixt hill and high water N.
