SuseLinux 10.3 -- Mozilla firefox 2.0.0.10 and cifs-mount samba security updates

The auto update for security patches #4740- & #4758-0 fail to install. I
receive a message popup (under KDE) stating "failed to mount dvd:/// on
/var/adm/mount/AP_0x00000004d: No medium found (mount: No medium found)
Problem downloading the package file from the repository

It appears the auto update mechanism is sourced with bad patch content.
The /_ icon reappears after failure in the KDE toolbar. I note that if I
attempt to install either of the subject patches, the same error arises.

What must I do to correct this problem? Thx.
