The 10.3 bug-buddy update released yesterday has failed dependencies..
"Can't satisfy requirement libboost_filesystem.so.1.33.1 for libzypp-3.26.3-1.1.i586" Today's update of boost also has problems: "Can't satisfy requirement libboost_regex.so.1.33.1 for zypper-0.8.25-01.i586" Since I don't want to break the package manager, I cancelled the update. (One of the responses to bug-buddy update problems on the web recommends adding the GNOME-STABLE community repository and updating bug-buddy and boost with all their dependencies. http://www.suseforums.net/index.php?...0&#entry212412 I added that repository, but the bug-buddy update then reports the same conflicts with zypper, so I did not install them) %cat /proc/version Linux version 2.6.22.12-0.1-bigsmp (geeko@buildhost) (gcc version 4.2.1 (SUSE Linux)) #1 SMP 2007/11/06 23:05:18 UTC |

Only YOU, perl and bug-buddy (again, but didn't appear to do anything?) but all went fine on my vmware machines and notebook. -- Cheers Malcolm °¿° (Linux Counter #276890) SLED 10.0 SP1 x86_64 Kernel 2.6.16.53-0.16-smp up 6 days 23:06, 0 users, load average: 0.34, 0.75, 0.72 |

OK, upgrading to the current bug-buddy and boost, and *then* accepting the
yast2 upgrade worked. (maybe there was just some problem with doing all these things at once? anyway, now everything looks good) Thanks. |
