Hi every body
I would like to know if there are another way to download the updates one need other than through yast. The problem is I have to go through a proxy that need authentication and I don't get it to recognize my user name and password in the proxy settings. I can however log on our proxy server through firefox. Thanks in advance |

Then point the installation source to it. ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/suse/update/10.2/ will get you the updates. Problem will be that you need to update it regularly. wget is a good tool if you can get it through your proxy server. Mike |
