Default 10.2 updates, Xorg-x11-server 7.2.30.4 and patch breaks things

So, I came into work today, auto update to this latest
Xorg-x11-server-7.2.30.4 version and patch that comes with it.

Whatever the patch did, breaks getVisual stuff for several of my applications.

The biggest bugger being in broke gnome-screensaver stuff, so now anytime a
screen saver kicks in, or you try to lock your system... you get a nice
hung black screen.

This is on x86-64... did you guys test this?

Trying to revert to base 10.2 CD version of xorg-x11-server 7.2.30 doesn't
fix it.

Any comments?

Are you using the proprietary nvidia driver? If so, you probably need to
reinstall it. I'm in the habit of doing this after xorg updates:

../NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9746-pkg1.run -a -s
