George, we (the people trying to help each other and the SysOps) are users of Novell products and not Novell employees. We don't get paid for what we do here, most of us are paying customers like you. If you want a reply and a solution guaranteed, call Novell Technical Support. Check this URL to get more familiar with the way these forums work: http://support.novell.com/forums/faq_general.html Sorry for calling you a troll. I hope you do understand better now. At least some of them are useful or I wouldn't still be a Sysop after all these years. Check your facts before you insult people. In any case the OP was a job ad, not a support request, so I fail to see how my usefulness is even relevant in this thread. -- Andrew C Taubman Novell Support Forums Volunteer SysOp http://support.novell.com/forums (Sorry, support is not provided via e-mail) Opinions expressed above are not necessarily those of Novell Inc. |

The comment was more an observation that you're not really here for support. My comments are based my own experience. I post in a group and wait for a response. Several days later, the group (novell.devsup.suse.linux.java) is closed without a response. I post in this group twice several weeks ago, and get no response. I called the pre-sales information line. After 15 minutes on hold, I'm told that I will receive a return call within two hours. Two hours are gone by, and no call back. So, from my experience, there is no support. How would you feel if you were in my shoes? -- George Sexton MH Software, Inc. - Home of Connect Daily Web Calendar http://www.mhsoftware.com/connectdaily.htm |
