Default Conflict between yast and Update Manager (whatever this one is)

I just installed Suse 10.1. I did all upgrades and new software intall
using yast. I have an Icon on my trail that looks like a world, and now
has an exclamation mark on it, saying that I have 53 updates. If I try to
use that to update, it wants to remove kdegraphics from my system. Seens
like yast and this manager are in conflict. What gives?

Thanks,

rb

Can you try and add an online installation repository to the Zen updater and try again?
Like e.g.
ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distr...ry/inst-source

Uwe:

I tried adding this, hoping it would resolve issues I'm having with the
updater but get invalid URI.

Select "ZYPP" manually as the source type, does it work now?
