Support for Via VT8251 SATA

Hi,

Does anyone one know if/when SuSE will have support for Via's VT8251 SATA
interface. It looks as though Fedora has this support because VIA wrote it
for them. SuSE 10.1 recognises the VT8251 but still does not find the SATA
drives. Hopefully this support will be forthcoming as I don't want to
switch from NLD/SuSE to RHEL/Fedora. Thanks in advance.
