I've just installed my suse 9.3.
I try to make an online update and i've got this message : Impossible d'extraire la liste des serveurs distants, seuls les sources de patches definies par l'utilisateur seront disponibles. (in english : unable to extract list of remote servers, only yhe user's patchs will be ok) Has anyone got an idea ??? |

Drgged up from memory - if you did a REALLY minimal install one version of Suse didn't install wget - and you get the above failure ( it might have been curl, but I'm pretty sure it was wget ) Install wget for you source and YOU may 'spring into life' |

Entering manually some mirror+path solves the problem. I've seen that somewhere around 10.0 release, and it was solved automatically when YOU finally got list of servers. BTW, list is in /var/lib/YaSt2/you/youservers. -- Regards, Rajko M. |
