Default Patching NLD 9

I am a linux newbie. I have installed NLD 9 and am trying to apply SP3. I
downloaded the following ISO files from Novell :

NLD9-SP3-i386-CD1.iso
NLD9-SP3-i386-CD2.iso

I am following the update instructions for NLD 9 SP3
(http://www.novell.com/documentation/..._nld9_sp3.html)

Specifically the section titled Updating NLD 9 Using the SP3 Cds.

I put the CD in the drive and Yast Autoupdate loads so it autodetects the CD
ok. When I click Next to begin I get an error. Clicking the Details button
reveals:

errorAttach

/point/var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt

Can someone help me ? I have no clue as to what to do next.

Thanks

Russ

Did you use the iso burn feature of your cd burner or did you copy the
iso file on a cd, it makes a huge difference. The ISO files are similar
to zip files and must be burnt onto the cd's using a iso burner.

Yeah. I used the CD s'ware to burn the CD. I didn't copy the ISO to a CD.
LOL !!

I figured out the problem on my own after a while. I have two CD drives
(CD/RW and a DVD /RW) in this machine. The CD/RW was mounted to cdrecorder
and this choice was not available in the user defined functions of AutoYast.
Once I notice that I put the CD in the DVD/RW drive and it mounted ok after
I adjusted the user defined functions of AutoYast to accomodate the dvd
drive.
