I'm running the latest retail SUSE 10.0 on my Dell Inspiron 600m and must
say I love it. I only have one small problem that I'm dealing with which I hope someone has a solution. I've updated my kernel through YOU using susewatcher to 2.6.13-15.7-default as it was showing up as a security patch. However, when I later run system update to update all my software, it downloads kernel 2.6.13-15 and reverts it back. Then I get the security warning through YOU to update to the latest kernel. Why is the System Update YaST2 module "downgrading" my kernel? Thanks for an help. NodakBarnes |

If you are using one of the online ones or your own disks ( which contain the original media ) it will revert back to plain 10 which is why you are ending up with the default kernel. Eventually that problem went away. Just reject the kernel update until there's a later rev available, then that problem should go away. |
