Default How to add a new SCSI hard drive to SUSE?

I am having problem adding a new SCSI hard drive to SUSE.
I already have a SCSI hard drive in my system, and I want to add one
more.

When I want to boot to Linux.
It give me an error message:
Waiting for device /dev/sda3 to appear: .. not found -- device nodes:
......
Not boot device found; exiting to /bin/sh
/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off

Administrator guide:
http://www-uxsup.csx.cam.ac.uk/pub/d...9.3/suselinux-
adminguide_en/sec.inst.scsidev.html

I know that in the adminstrator guide, say something about enable the
boot.scsidev script.
I used the command:
/sbin/insserv /etc/rc.d/boot.scsidev

And leave the parameter in the /etc/sysconfig/scsidev as the way it is.
"-r -q"

And in runlevel editor, make sure that boot.scsidev is level B.

Then I reboot the machine.

And plug in my new hard drive as secondary hard drive.
And boot the machine again. But I still get the same error message!!!!

Please help.
