Is there an official internet yast source where one can update and
install from? I just used Ubuntu for a while and there *everything* can easily installed and updated just from the Internet, without even specifying cryptic "update sources" -- it is all pre-configured. That is incredibly convenient and useful. Is there a way to do this with OpenSuse and Yast too, or at least, will there be something like this in the final OpenSuse release? |

You'll still have to manually add Yast sources. You can add/update from any official SuSE mirror.
