Hi,
http://www.novell.com/linux/download...93_x86_64.html seems to fix a kernel problem, which prevents me from installing SuSE 9.3 Professional on a dual core X86_64 machine. How do I update my installation source with this fix? Since the bug prevents me from installing, I cannot simply do a "you" after installation. Can I simply overwrite /suse/x86_64/kernel-smp-2.6.11.4-20a.x86_64.rpm with /update/x86_64/kernel-smp 2.6.11.4-21.9.x86_64.rpm or do I have to replace dependent files too? Any Idea? Christian |

That's basically what I do, see my posting <FBh_e.2005$jT.623@prv-forum2.provo.novell.com> in opensuse.org.suse-linux.support.install-configure-administration. But it's a bit tedious. Isn't there a better way? Christian |
