I'm trying to update my SuSe 9.3 (AMD64) system and certain packages that
the utility tells me are needed cannot be installed. They download part or most of the way, but then I get the message: ERROR(You:RPM has invalid signature.) This may be related to my previous message in this forum. This is preventing me from getting some critical fixes, so anyone who can help would be greatly appreciated. -- [Reverse the parts of the e-mail address to reply.] |

If it wasn't part of the automated process, that would be a big "no". Is that part of some registration process that I may have skipped? How can I get this key after the fact? It looks like the package for the keyring is there, looking at the "Install/Remove software" applet in YaST. > Which packages are they? freeradius, bzip2, glibc, xorg-x11-libs, sudo, dhcpcd, udev, mailman, gnutls, fetchmail, kdelibs3, netpbm, kdebase3, pcre, kernel, apache2-mod_php4, pam_ldap, apache2, evolution-data-server, squid, util-linux, and OpenOffice_org. -- [Reverse the parts of the e-mail address to reply.] |

Where exactly should these keys go? I opened up Kgpg and located and retrieved the "SuSE Package Signing Key", but I'm still not seeing a difference. How do I register this key with YOU? -- [Reverse the parts of the e-mail address to reply.] |

Exactly what I needed to get back on track. Thanks! If it's of any interest how I got in this mess, it is because I manually mirrored the parts of the installation tree that I thought I needed on a second machine, so that I could perform two local FTP installs. Apparently I left out these critical *.asc files. -- [Reverse the parts of the e-mail address to reply.] |
