Default GTK/Cairo update oddities

Updating with the supplementary versions of GTK and/or Cairo (not sure which
is the actual culprit) result in the following:

Switching focus to GTK applications creates a quick black box (which
instantly disappears) where the previously focused window was.

Drop down menus in GTK applications are completely black aside from any
icon. Text is readable if hovered over.

Anyone else seeing this?

SuSE 9.3 Pro.

Thanks.

Sorry about that. I was too hasty. The thread about the fact you mention
is in opensuse.org.suse-linux.support.gnome.

Hi Dave,

I think that you thought good.

It is problem that appeared after update/patch was applied, so this would be
proper place to open the subject.

On the other hand patches and bugs resolution are part of administration, so
it is not wrong to ask in install-configure-administration either.

This is Gnome patch so that group could be good place too.
