This is about the only way you will get updates for 8.0 but even they stop around 2004 IIRC: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/disconti...86/update/8.0/ Trying an upgrade will be fruitless from such an earlier version, even going from 9.2 -> 9.3 is not always 100% The difference between the 2 versions are so big that I would guess it would really leave you with a very confused system.
