No sound in firefox

Dear All,
I got a sound problem, a few time ago. Sound card was ko. I changed it.
Everything is working fine (vlc,banshee), but no sound at all in firefox.
I tried the advices read on the forum,uninstalled libflashsupport.
Updated flash.
No result.
Can Anyone help ?

I'd only be guessing here, but do you mean flash sound?

If you're a Gnome user, PulseAudio might be causing you problems. Have a read of this thread.

Another potentially relevant thread dealing with PulseAudio and flash videos without sound.

If I'm off track here, you will need to supply more info about openSUSE version, desktop etc

Pulseaudio off and everythings ok now.
But why is such an application still in the list if getting so many troubles ?
