Default plug in help

Hi all

is it possible to play the video feeds from here?

WORLDSBK.COM | SBK TV

Firefox is saying I need a plugin but when you click on the install plugin icon it says there are no plugins available

Anyone mind browsing over and checking?

Dave

Gnome Mplayer yes, if gecko is in there, try it, it will probably be fine for most sites.
The link I gave was for apple trailers and Malcolm has a rpm ready to go for that.

Try Packman see how you go

But I'm using gecko from RedDwarf, but only Gecko

widehat.opensuse.org

or download Malcolms from that link I gave Re: Apple
Un-install Packmans

Install with:
Code:
rpm -ihv *package name

Am I looking at the same site?

The media files on there are .wmv I have just spent the last 1/2 hour
watching them :-)

Using Firefox and smplayer.

Did I miss something though as I cannot find any apple stuff on there, or am
I just being dumb as usual ( no need to answer, I know already )

Mark,

I posted a link earlier in the thread to a discussion about Apple Trailers which included some links to download specially packaged versions of gecko-mediaplayer. Obviously I knew the site under discussion here was not Apple.

Until recently I always used either mplayer or vlc pluggin for FF from Packman. But I have to say, Gnome-Mplayer and the gecko-mediaplayer are a better combo.

Hi
I've also found this combination works great with chromium browser as
well on 11.2 M7.

Now the build service is back, maybe RedDwarf will make an update.

runs fine here (now watching a motorcycle race) in firefox 3.0.12
using mediaplayerconnectivity 0.9.2 add-on, in KDE3.5.7 release 72.11,
on openSUSE 10.3 fully patched (kernel 2.6.22.19-0.4-default) and
MPlayer 1.0rc2_r27637-3.pm.3

note: needing to be out on the leading edge of next weeks software is
a vicious rumor..
