Default Firewire port 1394

Dear All,
Since I ran the last kernel update, the 1394 firewire seamms not to work anymore. At least, kino doesn't recognise it anymore.
Is it possible ?
What do You advice ?

and by the way, since the same update, pulse audio application doesn't work anymore either. Maybe not kernel but x.org update ?

Hello,
I came back to the precedent version of xorg-x11, suse repo.
A new version were installed on 07.09.2009 from another repo, don't remember the name).
Bit now I have a problem with "modeprobe" or something like that, can't run my suse anymore, except in failsafe.
Heeeeeeeeeeelp !
