Default kde4, Amarok sound independent from system

Hello Suse brethren,

Very happy with my new suse11.1/kde4 install, after ironing out a few minor bumps. One small problem remains though:

System sound works fine...Amarok works fine...But the volume in amaroK is completely independent of the system sound. I.e. in kmix, the sound can be muted completely, but amarok will play regardless of the levels in kmix...Only the volume control in amarok works for amarok. Its more annoying than you might think.

Any suggestions would be splendid. TIA

Ns
