Hi again, well some very weird things have happened to my suse lol

I installed that codec you said liba52, and then my vlc lost sound for every kind of file .avi .mpeg .vob

So I was like omg, so I got rid of it and it start to delete a lot of the medium. That's when it became screwed.

But to cut a long story short i've got it all back to normal but now vlc has no sound for any file, so i've got to use mplayer only now until a new vlc or a solution comes out.

... bump ...

Please, can we have some feedback from some more openSUSE vlc users, who are using a 64-bit openSUSE with VLC?

Do you get sound from vlc when play files with the A/52 audio codec (also known as AC-3) ??

I think something is conflicting or maybe I need a codec.

Can you recommend what I can get or do?

Thanx

Sorry, I don't use Gnome nor Banshee.

Can we have other vlc 64-bit users advise if they have any difficulty with a52/ac3 audio codec?
