sauerbraten x11 opengl error

I have yet to install sauerbraten in openSUSE, well at least manage to get it into a working state. From past experience, I know my computer is able to run sauerbraten. Whenever I try to start sauerbraten I have the following error:

Unable to create OpenGL screen: X11 driver not configured with OpenGL

Does anyone know why this is happening.
