Exclamation Sound problem with laptop k50in

There is a problem with sound but only when playing games. Music and video sound is working perfectly. In games there are sound distortion or sometimes specific sound parts are skipped. any ideas?

IMHO this post is more likely to get the response you want if it is moved to the "games" sub forum area. Hence I am going to move this to the games subforum area in 10 to 20 minutes.

Ok I moved the thread to games.

Reference the problem you are experiencing, do you know what sound daemon/server those games use? Could it be OSS ? In which case if it is, do you have alsa-oss (and alsa-oss-32bit if a 64-bit user) installed ?
