gnotravex - can't create new game

after completing a gnotravex game the pop-up which has a button to start a new game, doesn't actually start a new game. Actually it does nothing but keep the pop-up there in front, you have to quit and restart the entire application.

I've downloaded the game as well and experienced the same bug.
On the web there were some bug reports but no solution.
Finally I decided to update the package: gnome-games from version 2.24.1-1.26 to version 2.26.3-1.2 which can be found in the build service.
